Geppetto the carpenter makes a wooden puppet and calls him Pinocchio. Pinocchio can walk and talk just like a human – but sadly he isn’t one. Then a magical blue fairy promises that if Pinocchio stops being naughty and telling lies, she will make him a real boy.
